  1. Vehicle Lookout- 2nd May 2013

    A white BMW X5 similar to the photo has been seen at various places where armed robberies have taken place. Four armed men wearing balaclavas have been involved in armed robberies using this type of vehicle. Please call 10111 Flying Squad if you see a suspicious vehicle that matches the above description.






  2. Stolen Equipment - 25th April 2013

    Two Stihl Petrol Grass Cutters and a Stihl Trimmer were stolen from the BECF storage hut at the Bryanston Scout Hall. Anyone who may have any information related to the theft of the equipment to contact the BECF offices.





















  3. First domestic watch meeting- 19th April 2013

    Bryanston East’s first Domestic Watch meeting hosted by Penny Steyn took place on Friday 19th April at the Bryanston Methodist Church. The meeting was sponsored and organized by BECF together with ADT. Penny’s organization “Making A Difference” (MAD) is renowned for its efforts to combat crime. Despite the poor weather on the day over 70 domestics attended the meeting. These meetings will cover a comprehensive set of over 60 lessons that are aimed at both education and empowering domestic workers. The next meeting takes place on Friday 24th May.

  4. BECF Cleaners attend Lifestyle Garden Worker’s Course 18-19th April 2013

    BECF cleaners Thomas Mufamadi, Shaun Ndaba and Philip Maluleke attended a two day Garden Worker’s course at Lifestyle College in Randburg. The course covered garden soil, plants and weeds and tool maintenance. After successfully obtaining the course certificate Shaun said the course would help the cleaning team add value to the work it did for the community to keep the environment in Bryanston beautiful. He also said that the training course showed that the BECF was also committed to improving the skills of its employees.





  5. Riverside Park takes Shape 30th March 2013

    BECF has signed a SLA agreement with City Parks for the development and maintenance of the new park being developed opposite the Riverside Shopping Centre. The development of the park is being sponsored by Alan Grant Holdings together with Builder’s Express. Earthworks have been completed and grass and trees have been planted.
